Cairnryan Bed and Breakfast so convenient for the ferry to Northern Ireland just 500 metres away and with an uninterrupted view across Loch Ryan, Cairnryan House is the place to stay. You can watch the P & O Cairnryan to Larne ferry and Stena ferry and HSS which sail to Belfast from Stranraer, a five minute drive away, sail by in front of your window.

We offer accommodation to many who require a nights stay before their onward journey to Ireland whether for business or pleasure. For business stopovers, our Guest Lounge has internet access and some of our rooms also have a working desk. For those working in the area we can offer long term rates.

If you are holidaying in the area, we have a good local knowledge, numerous leaflets on the area, adjoining Ayrshire and on Belfast and Antrim if like many tourists who stay with us, you are taking in a day trip to Ireland as many of our guest do.

Within a short drive of Cairnryan are a number of beautiful gardens protected by the warm gulf stream that frequents the area, forest walks and nature reserves.

A Royal Society for the Protection of Birds member we are just five minutes walk to the bird watching area at Cairn Point frequented by many seeking a view of the King Eider and other rare seabirds.

A period property, Cairnryan House was built in 1894. Formerly the local Manse, the house retains many of its original features. There is off-road parking for up to ten vehicles and guests are welcome to sit in our front garden, or relax in our guest lounge whilst watching the ferries go by the window.

All of our rooms are non smoking, en-suite, centrally heated, with TV, dressing table, hairdryer and a courtesy tea and coffee tray.

Our accommodation comprises three double rooms two of which can also be used as family rooms if required, a ground floor double room, three twin rooms and three single occupancy rooms.

What we can offer:-

  • choice of rooms, all with Loch Ryan or garden view;

  • all en-suite, no separate bathrooms;

  • uninterrupted views of the Loch, rare sea birds and Stena and P&O ferries passing by.

  • a garden with seating for your enjoyment in the warmer months;

  • a Licensed Restaurant with evening meals by prior arrangement and a fire in the winter;

  • large private illuminated off-street car park;

  • breakfast dining room where guests sit at separate tables;

  • courtesy tea, coffee & biscuits;

  • working desk & Dressing table in most rooms.
